The Rules of the Process Professional Request For Proposal System
General Outline of Our System
MedLawPlus.com is a venue for
purchasers of professional services to seek proposals from
providers of professional services -- i.e.,
lawyers, doctors, accountants, financial planners. First, User
selects up to seven providers in your locale from whom you
would like to receive proposals for work on your problem or need.
Next, the User inputs a description of his or her needs into
our system. We will automatically and anonymously take that
information and send it to each of the providers you have
chosen. The providers may ask you
for additional information while the proposal process is open. After receiving and reviewing
the proposal, the user is free select to select what he or she determines
to be the best service for the best price (which is not required
to be the lowest price!!!). We will not reveal any information you submitted to us during the registration process other than your first name. However, after a professional submits a proposal, we will also make your email address avaiable to him or her to allow for followup communications. What is done with the proposals received is total up to you the user. You are under no obligation to engage a professional due to your participation in this system.
There is no cost to you, the user, for utilizing our service and
this no obligation to purchase by the mere fact that you
seek proposals through our system. No one from MedLawPlus.com will contact you for the purpose of coaxing you to purchase.
How do I get the professionals to give a proposal on my business?
- The first step is to register as an authorized user of
our service.   User
Registration Page
- The second step is to pick the general area of services
you desire, i.e., medical,
legal ,or
accounting / financial services .
- The third step is to find your city among our menu of
service locations. We have built up the provider networks in
all large US cities and continue to expand the network into other markets.
- The fourth step is to review our menu of services within
your general category and location to select the specific
service area you desire. The menu of service locations is
found on the page for your city. Start with general fields
(i.e., legal, medical, accounting and financial planning),
and then select specific practice areas within each field.
Once you are within your desired specialty, peruse the
list of service providers. Our professional database contains
substantial amounts of information regarding each provider's
credentials and, in addition, a link to the providers personal
web page is given (if he or she has a page). All requests
for proposal and proposals are anonymous.
- Determine which of the providers you desire us to submit a
"request for proposal". Check the box next to each provider
you wish to receive a proposal from.
- Next, click on the "Submit Request" box and follow the
instructions. We submit your Request For Proposal in
anonymous form to the provider.
How soon will I receive my proposals from the service providers?
The User has the choice of specifying 3 or 7 days
as the time limit for the service providers to submit their proposals. It is
expected that, by allowing 7 days, you are ensuring that you will receive
the maximum number of proposals from your selected providers.
While the proposals are pending, the User and Providers are allowed
to send questions or clarifications to one another. This is an additional
advantage of allowing 7 days for proposals as opposed to
3--i.e., it allows more time for an exchange of information.
We immediately forward each proposal to you upon receipt.
After the close of proposals, it is up to the User to contact the service provider who's proposal and credentials best fit the User's needs (although there is no requirement for the User to select any service provider). The User essentially receives online price quotes and other information that comes without any obligation to purchase.
