I had the full bundle package removed on June09 because of lack of money. ( I was never behind ) I decided to reconnect back on 28AUG and had to pay a $35 reconnect fee and I agreed on the 99.97 bundle package and payed them over the phone for the first month and the reconnect fee. However, my next billing cycle I received a bill for $378.00. The statement said I had a previous balance of $218.00 and they never gave me the bundle package but instead charged me the full price of all three services which was roughly $156.00. First off I couldn't understand the person on the other end and made no progress with him after another 1.5 hours I finally spoke to a supervisor who told me that I never had the package, basically calling me a liar! After I threatened him with notifying the Attorney General, BBB and FTC he finally corrected my bill to relfect the 99.97 a month offer but I noticed he was trying to charge me for a lease on a modem that I already owned. When I mentioned that he was like, Let's right you did buy one from us. Very sneaky Charter is. The $218.00 from previous balance I was told was left over from when I cancelled my service in June. What a bunch of BS that was sseeing I had the statement still from when I turned in the cable box indicating my balnce was ZERO. I still haven't gotten that removed yet. Waiting to go to the local Charter to show proof of receipt.Unfortunately at my location the dish is not possible otherwise I would never do business with CHARTER! No wonder why they filed for bankrupcty.. If you have the option for your TV provider, STAY AWAY FROM CHARTER!!
