Comment:
On September 16, 2009, I called the 800 number for automated services for an extension to pay my bill on September 21...it was authorized. I paid the bill in full on 9/21. The bill I received for the next month had a charge of $32.22 on it for a partial month, I called customer service and they told me that my services were interrupted last month on 9/21 and I was charged for a partial month. I informed them that I asked for an extension until 9/21 and I paid on 9/21. She told me that I had to have my payment in by 12:01am on 9/21 or my service could be interrupted. I informed her that I did not have an interruption of service, my receivers never stopped working. She said they billing system shows that it did and now I am charged for a partial month. On 10/16 my service was turned off because of the past due amount of $32.33 and now they want the full amount plus the past due. I told them that I should not have a past due, because my services were never interrupted and they will not credit my account or turn my services back on. This is unfair billing practices, because I was never interrupted and they are charging me for an interruption.
