I too am having problems with Cox Communications, A FREE offer is costing me about $200.00.
I have been using them for over 17 years, Have always had problems with their internet service, then was told that I would save money if I signed up for the "package" offer, I don't save on the phone bills because they nickle and dime you for everything, the computer is always slow, and freezing up, and now they offered me a free service and when I called to get that "FREE" service the sales rep. miss informed me and what I thought I was getting for free I was billed, it will cost me about $200.00 for this "Free" offer, and they tell me it was me that misunderstood what was told to me, when I asked them to listen to this "Recorded phone call" they said that the sales rep. explained everything to me and that it was my fault so I have to pay the bill, I asked to listen to the recording or get a copy of it, I was told I have to get a subpoena to get the recording, so I can't defend what I said because they won't even let me listen to the recording to proof to me that it was me that misunderstood.
I only have Cox here in my area, I am really thinking of going DISH, this might be my only other service available.
