I have had soooo many issues with BOA with my bank account and overdraft fees, I was 2 days late on my credit card and my payment went from 157 a month to 500 and never had a late payment history with them ever!! Now I have had issues with them on my mortgages. Again ALWAYS pay on time. I get a letter in Jan09 stating I am 1 mth behind on my mtg. 1st rep tells me it is from June08. 2nd rep tells me from sometime in 2007 and she would send me my payment history. After not receiving that I called and talked to a supervisor. It was from FEB 06 and just notified in Jan 09!!!! Upon reviewing my acct history that I finally received with my bank statements. I made my Jan payment beginning of Jan and my Feb payment at the very end of Jan and they posted that payment to my principal and not as a payment which I no way told them to. The payment posted on JAN 30th. They sent a neg report to the credit companies, they told me that they would correct everything (late charges, credit report etc). I get an ANNUAL escrow anaylis in the meantime stating I owe them $164.15 for shortage. OK - np I sent that in. Now I get another ANNUAL (2x this year) stating I have another shortage of $201. My taxes and insurance only went up $100 this year WHY???? After I was told by the rep that there is absolutely no way that they made a mistake and I have to pay it. I again did more research and found that one the new annalysis they never applied my $164.15 payment. When I called back the rep told me that it was applied to late charges that was supposed to be removed and not there in the first place. To top it all off all my statements would say one thing and the letters they send me states something totally different. How is that possible??? So we will see if they fix this and if not what do I do?
