We rented a U-haul for the NIGHT and shortly after we picked it up at 4 pm, we discovered there were NO dash lights. Nothing. These morons just shrugged it off the next morning and told me "I must not have had the dimmer switch turned up". I think I know how to turn lights on. When I called the main office, it took them three days to reply and then I was told that "Uhaul does not check the lights". WHAT? You rent these trucks and you don't check that the dash lights work? They refused to be civil. They refused to give even half of the rental fee back and I would warn anybody not to use this company. Besides, the truck got 6 miles to the gallon. That alone should be dis-allowed.
