I had a Bof A credit card for at least five years with a very low fixed interest rate that was never jeopardized -- always paid bill on time, always paid the balance due in full. My husband lost his job, wasn't able to pay entire balance but did pay minimum balance due for about four months; then they DOUBLE the interest rate without reason. Long story short, paid the credit card off, will never do business with them again. Predator is a perfect word to describe these people.
