Subject: Dell Computers

I purchased a Dell Desktop computer from Dell in late 2008 along with a 3 year extended warranty. I could not connect to the internet but the Dell tec was no help to me. I hired someone to come to help me. He said that there was no modum in the computer. ( I didn't know what a modum was ) I went and got a modum and hired someone to install it. I called and wrote the Dell company to cancel the extended warranty. They refused to do so. I held out the price of the warranty. They called me almost every day to collect and turned it over to a collection agency. Finally the state of Florida helped me and Dell cancelled all charges and said they would erase the bad credit report they sent in on me.
PLEASE BUY YOUR COMPUTER FROM SOMEONE WHO WILL GIVE YOU LOCAL SERVICE!
