Subject: DirecTV False Advertising and Billing Fraud
Comment:
I would like to be in on any CLASS Action Lawsuit against Direct TV. They are shady and promise billing charges that are incorrect and exhorbant. I did not receive the rebates as promised. I did not receive the monthly billing that I was promised via a "deal for Triple A members". They did not even acknowledge the Triple AAA advertising when I have a two page colored ad from my Triple A "Go Magazine" promising members $24.99 per month for 12 months with no contract. My first bill was around $196 and my equipment was free with this deal -- WTF???? They turned my service off when I did not pay. To which, I still have not service and have complained to customer service to try and get these issues resolved with probably over 20 phone calls to no avail. These people are CRIMINALS!!!! Something should be done about this immediately! I have also notified Triple AAA about their "unacknowledgment" of the 2-page color advertisement with them for their members. I cancelled my credit card that I signed up with (and replaced it with a new one -- I suggest all consumers do this if they sign up with DirecTV), so that they could not charge me any unagreed upon fees. Please PLEASE get this class action suit started!!! This company should not get away with this!!! It's HORRIBLE. They are true criminals!
