I signed up for the monthly pass online. 2 1/2 weeks before the pass expired weight watchers submitted a charge of 39.00 for the next month's pass. This was on a Monday. The charge did not go through as there was not enough available credit on the card. The card has a small line of credit and I knew I would be making a payment within the next couple of days, so I didn't think anyting about it. The next day the charge was applied to the card(this means they submitted the charge thru for less than 39.00 to obtain an auth code) and I received an overlimit fee of 36.00. I called weight watchers immed and was told they did not show a charge went through and if one did they would reverse. I cancelled my membership on the spot and stopped attending the meetings, which I really liked. The next month again they debited 39.00 for the fee. I telephoned & a message tells you to go online to cancel. I cancelled online & requested my refund, I'm paid up way into September because they debit so far in advance. To date, no e-mail response & no credit. In my opionion these people are crooks! I do not recommend weight watchers at all & hope this gives someone a heads up when it comes to joining.
