Direct TV does not honor it Friends and Family Promo. I referred a family member who gave my account number up front to their customer service rep as the ads say. A month later, Direct TV sends a letter to us both saying the credit has been declined with no valid reason. I regret referring my family to their service. Also, always get promised credits or other statements in writing because Direct TV reps will tell you on the phone they are going to credit your account, etc., but do not.
