Subject: Lies to get you to sign up; then your stuck!

Directv phone rep called ME after an installer had missed his appointment. She told me that my bill would be $79.00 a month with a 1 year contract. After signing up & getting installed; I was told that in the "fine" print that the installers gave me was for a 2 year contract!! The installers gave me a stack of papers & directions. I would never sign up for TV for 2 years!!! That is crazy!!! They wouldnt take their equipment back and you cant even downgrade without paying THEM for replacement equipment!!!! They scammed me and the service is terrrible. Much less channels than cable and they are swindlers!!!
