Subject: Illegal Billing and Slander by Direct TV
Comment:
Direct TV advised a local installation company that they refused to approve installation due to an outstanding unpaid bill.
First I have NEVER had Direct TV, I can prove that I had cable for 6 years and prior to that Dish Net.
Advised by Direct TV that it was for someone with the same last name that lived in my home. The only person who lived in my hone was my son.
Advised Direct TV installed on May, 2003, at same time I had Dish Net. NOT POSSIBLE. Without proof they then harassed my son into paying for a past bill.
Turned them into BBB, have written proof from President of Direct TV that because they got my son to pay case is closed.
I am contacting attorney and planning to sue them for slander, etc.
They can provide NO written proof of any installation, no signature of mine, etc. They state they charged it against someone with the same last name.
This company needs to be brought up on numerous charges.
