I too was told one price on the phone for my voice mail which rep stated as free with package upgrade and I added unlimited long distance. Well the voice mail was not free because that added repeat calling,which cost more than voice mail, which rep did not mention. When my home phone would not connect to my voice mail box I called and some one had forgot to connect service although I was billed for it. They also failed to mention the $80
charged when I called about my phone wasn't ringing although the caller would hear it. And sure enough they found nothing wrong, what a surprise. It only started when I added voice mail and dropped inside wiring protection at the same time (why does it say inside wiring on bill for that protection but if they come out to check the outside wiring or line and you don't have it,you pay $80) and it still is not ringing but it sometimes chirps. When will the gov get involved and stop the deceptive practices? Why are we being Charged for touch tone service when rotary or pulse is almost obsolete. Seems like anyone with a rotary phone should be paying extra. No more service adjustments over the phone will make on att web site in future. Document, document,document.
