After reading all of theese post its doesn't suprise me a bit see i work for at&t been there for 3 years in the sales dept and its a shame what they make us do to our customers see we have objectives to meet each month just to keep our job with the great pay.
They walk around the floor yelling and praising people for sells.
When people call in just for simple stull like paying their bill or to ? their bill what ever after we help them with that then comes the sales pitch "oh my you are paying to much", "How much are you spending on your tv,cell,inet" and so on we tell them one proce but everyone sems to forget the taxes or one time chgs or how to tel a customer to redeem their rebates and so on.
I feel bad for our customers we are giving them stuff decieving them and when they get their bill its way higher than we told you over the phone.
Now times are hard its not how it use to be maybe a year1/2 ago because people are not calling calls are far between so every call matters and it really sucks.
It use to be great b4 at&t took over bellsouth now its a dog eat dog world and it really does suck for the customer but until somethings happens bad enough for at&t to realize how much preassure they are putting on its sales reps its never gonna get better for the customer and thats a shame
