I have just had my last conversation with a BofA rep. We just recently experienced a financial crises due to lost wages of single income family. We have been long time customers of MBNA borrowing and paying off our credit lines. Since they became Bank of America the credit line was reduced and interested rates are at an astronomical 29%!! I have negotiated with several creditors regarding the interest rates and payment options with no problem. BofA will not budge with any interest modifications, they pass you on to debt anlysis departments and give you a huge run around. Now they have received $40 billion plus in stimulus money, OUR MONEY! And are supposed to be offering support to all of their customers, it is my contention that if they do not provide assistance they are causing duress and damage to personal credit reports. I do not believe that any of their previous terms and conditions apply after they have received our money and are well aware of the current economic crises. I am going to submit an official complaint and plan of action to the executive board through my attorney; if you have any interest and have had problems with BofA you can contact (702) 309-4862 or email: jvpartners@rocketmail.com and I can include your complaint in my attorney's letter.
