Main thread--Bank of America Complaints
State: oklahoma Posted: 04/14/2009 Subject: checking charges Comment: I deposited my husbands payroll checks as usual, for some reason the bank decided to put a hold on his check and charged me overdrawl fees for using my dedit card on that day and refused to take the overdraw charges off. I had more money in my saving than the deposit was and they still did this. They have never put a hold on his payroll check before and will not give me a straight answer, just that they can do this. I ask if this was going to happen every week and they will not say, so 2 small debit transactions cost me $70.00. They must really need money from the hard working man. I had that acct and and a savings acct with them for over 3 years. We never have overdraft charges, we watch our accts. very close. that does it for us we will be changing banks.They won't get the chance to do this to me next week |
