Main thread--Complaints Against Collection Agencies
State: NY Posted: 04/09/2009 Subject: HARRASEMENT Comment: I had a student with the direct loan and with the dept of education. because of old address they had me in default and I had call direct loan stating I had a hard ship not true. They they told me to call Premiere credit of north america which I did in indianaplis which I did Some man by the name jeff call me 9:00 AT NIGHT DEMANDING FOR MONEY 3,200 WHICH I told they took 4,300 internal revenue If i can make monthly payments. He said no way next day I call they rude and nasty as soon as they answered the phone gave me jeff again and said he needed to know to put me on a payment plan low I have not been working so they had my husband household info they ask me such personnel questions. Ask me mortage payment how many children I have and how much spend in food a week 5 people 3large dogs 400dollars in newyork H e said that he has 2 kids he doesn't spend that kind of money I live in ny He lives in indiana big diffence. He said you better start changin your eating habbits. I told dept education did not care had call 311 complaint call they I spoke to a man todd thinking he was going to help he said go husband wallet and take credit and debit card and pay 2,600 right now they whole office know all my busy were laughing about including liz phone operator kept on hanging up the phone on me and not even manager by the name john was even worse then them what nerve. Then I called dept education told in collection where told send 100 dollars every month to premere collection they did not accept it so told send my money volunteer to dept of education did nothing about some student loan dept? |
