Have a BofA card w/ 45k limit @ 9% interest. Rec'd letter yesterday saying they are raising my interest to 15% If i challenge this increase, i must stop using card & pay off immediately, or pay the 15% ON THE OUTSTANDING BAL. If I use the card, my rejection of the increase instantly becomes void. Why is the bank penalizing a solid middle class person with exceptional credit for the mistakes B of A & others have made, and allow the deadbeats to walk away from their debts?
