I don't understand why Madoff isn't charged with RECO.
Wouldn't that confiscate everything of his and return it to the investors? It seems to me that Ruth, his wife helped perpetrate the fraud through their lifestyle and her position in the community and helped create the illusion of wealth. He had a company that raised money which he received 20% of all funds raised, ( he had a partner isnt that enough to be considered RECo?

As for the gall of his wife asking for millions of dollars, let them be brought back to their 1970 lifestlye . As for her and or Bernie should be made to live on social security and medicare an ultimately into a government funded nursing home.
This would be a just punishment. Better than jail.
