Main thread--AT&T Billing Practices
State: Mississippi Posted: 03/08/2009 Subject: Your reward is waiting! Comment: In Oct 2008 I took an special offer that if I switched to ATT fast dsl they would give me $125.00. After I did this I talke d to several people telling me different things. On 10/6/08 Benna told me to send Comcast bill showing I use to have service with them. 10/20/08 I talked to Albert he gave me another number to call. Lulu told me to fax the coupon with previous cable bill, which I did and never heard anything. The list goes on and on not to mention how long you have to be put on hold to have someone to help me. After going through this I decided to cancel my service. Now they are charging me $191.09.My last bill was in Nov.2008 and I did not receive anything until a week ago stating I was ignoring previous statements. this is such a scam these people are pulling on the consumer and I am sick of it. The president should have big telephone companies monitored alonfg with banks! I do not feel I have to pay this. Yesterday I got another offer telling me they would give me up to $325.00 from Debbie Storey, Vice President, Att Consumer Sales and Service. What a joke! |
