How about Discover's process for lowering your APR. No lie. Ask for it over the phone. They send you a card in which you state your preferred APR (pick a number any number). You send it back and shortly thereafter you are rejected, and told if you want to try again, request another card and go through the process again. Meanwhile, months go by.
Don't these people know we can roll ya over baby? I don't have to beg for a 0% on another card.
