I GOT A CALL ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE YESTERDAY, FROM OUR LOCAL BLOCKBUSTER SAYING THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE CHARGING US A SALE ON THE 2 MOVIES WE RENTED THE PREVIOUS WEEK BECAUSE WE DID NOT RETURN THEM.
WE HAD WATCHED BOTH MOVIES ON SAT JAN 31ST, AND LATE IN THE AFTEROON ON FEB 1ST MY HUSBAND TOOK THEM BACK.
I CALLED THEY SAID THEY CHECKED ALL THE TITLES ON THE SHELVES & THE ONES I RENTED WERE NOT THERE.
WHAT IF SOME "DITZY' MINIUM WAGE EMPLOYEE HANDED THEM OUT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER BEFORE THEY WERE CHECKED BACK IN? THESE ARE YOUNG KIDS WHO WORK IN THESE STORES & THEY SPENT ALOT OF TIME TALKING TO EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING..SO THIS COULD HAPPEN.
WE HAVE RETURNED THESE MOVIES..AND I REFUSE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT THAT GOOD TO BEGIN WITH.
PRIOR TO THIS THEY KEPT CALLING OUR PHONE FOR ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S MOVIES..SO THAT SHOWS THEY HAVE THINGS MIXED UP.
IF THEY CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD... I WILL DISPUTE THIS AS AN UNAUTHORZIED CHARGE.
