ATT bought BellSouth, therefore their customer reps are the same, rude and terrible. I had ATT in early 2008 and cancelled them to go to another carrier because the fees each month kept on going up. It was not the amount I had previous agreed too. They owed me a refund when i cancelled. I got the letter but never got the refund check. I called a couple of times a month for almost 6 months to get my refund. And of course, I get the run around. When I finally spoke to the third supervisor, I was told to fax the refund letter in. I faxed it in the same day and called back to make sure they receive it. And yes, you guessed it, they didn't get it eventhough I confirmed the fax number again. After faxing it the second time and getting a person who I could barely understand, I was told that they were unable to pull up the account because it was too old. It wouldn't have been old if they corrected it when I first called after receiveing the refund letter. so after several months of going from one customer rep to another, the account is too old to refund. what happened here? ATT is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My friends, family, co-workers, and everyone knows how terrible ATT's customer reps are and not to give ATT their business.
