I had a similar problem, I've forgotten the name. I found the best way of dealing with these calls is to call the collectors back from the phone they called in on ASAP. The number will show up on their caller id and any reasonable collector should realize their target isn't going to call back that quick! It worked for collectors based in Texas and Maryland.
