I have been with been with Washington Mutual now Chase for several years and have never made a late payment, overdraft, etc. A year my rate was increased from 8% to 26% and for no apparent reason. Only that they are allowed to change the term without reason. I've spoken to several associates and supervisors and have not been helped at all. I'm kind of in a jam because they're rules have changes so much. I have only used half of my credit balance and still they think I'm a risk only because of their recent inability to make good on their mortgage lending practices. Unfortunately, I have two credit cards with them, Washington Mutual Providian which bought by Wamu. So I have two pains and I need help to hold the credit card companies for their actions and not penalize the consumer.
