Main thread--Uhaul Billing Complaints
State: ohio Posted: 12/27/2008 Subject: unfair,rude,waiting,arguing Comment: The u-haul store in lima ohio on elida road.My daughter kristin hilleshiem called to check prices on how much it would cost to move to Missouri.She was quoted $850.00.She was not happy with the price,the manager of the store repeatedly called her for a better deal.The manager offered her %10 discount.My daughter said that would be fine if you could also throw in a car dolly for free.The manager excipted,she took all the information over the phone.When we got to the store another employee was waiting on us and had none of the information and ask several times for the managers help.The manager was two feet away from us and would not help the employee,she kept waiting on other customers,we had stood there for one hour.Finally when no one was left in the store,she came to help the employee,yeld at him ,push and slaped his arm.Whated all the information again that she had already got over the phone and we had to stood there another 20 minates.We had to talk her into the %10 discount that she had agreed to over the phone,and charged us for the car dolly.She kept walking away from the strugling employee and would go sit in her office.By this time it was 5:00 and we had to bring the truck back before 7:30 so they could put on the car dolly.We asked for more time to come back because they had taken so long and she rudelly said you must be back by 7:30 or they would not help use with the car dolly.I ask to speak with the store manager and she rudelly said she was the store manager.The employee that was trying to help us told us he was very sorry.I had told the manager this was horrible customer service and she just went and sat in her office.I told the nice employee that I would report this and he gave me a smile.Sandy Hilleshiem,I'm the one that wrote the check for $774.05 if I had time my business would have went esle where. |
