My experience was horrible. I was treated like someone who does not patronize the company. I rented a truck for 4 hours in which I was to return the truck at 6pm on 12/24/08. Since the location closed at 3pm, I was told by the associate when I called that I had until Friday to return the truck. The associate failed to tell me that I had to return truck by 8:00am nor was I told there was an evening drop off box or I would have returned the rental at 6pm on 12/24/08 because I no longer needed the truck and it sat outside my mother's home all day on Xmas. I had problems with the truck and also had to call your roadside assistance to get help. When I get to the location at 71st street I was told by the (supposedly general manager) that I would have to pay for 2 days when I was told I would only be responsible for one day of rental fee. The general manager was rude and decided she will bill my credit card for 2 days without my authorization. The general manager gave me the number to customer service and told me she is done with me and took the next customer. I filed a complaint with the regional office and spoke to another rude person by the name of Mary Martin, the traffic controller who told me that the charge would remain and she is closing the file. Well that is a slap in the face because there still is no resolution. I have filed complaints with the dept of consumer services and better business bureau. I should have paid 80.00 for the rental and the manager processed a charge for 175.00 without my authorization and kicked me out of the store! I will nevr rent anything from this terrible company and I advise no one else to rent from them because their service is terrible!
