Main thread--Charter Billing Practices
State: Missouri Posted: 12/22/2008 Subject: Idiots at Charter Comment: Wake up people who subscribe to Charter. They are running a monopoly here. My family has been a member of Charter for as many years as I can remeber. Where do I start their pricing is outrageous. Second they will not allow competition in the cable business in the cities they are in because they are afraid of being put out of business. Third they are not allowing other cable companies to come in their territory even with FCC regulations that state that a cable company can not control over 30% of their territory. Fourth they are not paying Channel 4 to stay with them for their televised events because they won't pay Channel 4 a penny a day for every customer. Charter is a Multi-Billion dollar company who is running a monopoly not only in Missouri but in other states as well. The company needs to feel the pain of losing its customers and allow their customers to choose what cable company they want to choose. The the removal of Channel 4 I am no longer going to be a Charter Customer. I have decided to go with a satellite company which will allow me to connect 4 TV's and have two digital recorders and more channels for LESS money than charter could ever charge. Wake up people. Find a different company to go with and drop Charter like a bad habit. Charter needs to feel the pain of screwing people over for many years and the government needs to realize this monopoly and put an end to it. I will NEVER be a Charter Customer again. |
