I moved from Sanford, NC to Sanford, NC in July 2008. My wife has paid the bill on-line every month - no problems. Payment in November 2008 was THE SAME WAY. This time Charter credited the payment to the OLD address. The money was deducted from the bank account - my wife prints out EVERY on-line payment. Charter claims there is NO RECORD of the payment. The bank provided proof of payment - photocopy of both sides of the check, with Charter Communications stamp of "For Deposit Only" info. Charter customer service is rude, even hostile. I urge all Ft. Bragg military active duty and dependents to NOT SUBSCRIBE TO CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS! Charter couldn't care less if you run into an IED as long as your bank account is active.
