Subject: Billing practice is scam

I, too, ordered the $99.97 plan. I already had the cable and phone w/ Charter, but added internet under this plan which was to last for 1 year. I am suddenly billed $53.00 over the cost of this plan. I did not get a September statement. When I got the October statement, I was charged for 3 mos. and the inflated price. I went to the Traverse City office and was told I had not paid August. My bank statement showed that the check had been cashed, but Charter claimed they did not receive it. I went to the bank and had them verify that the check had indeed been cashed by Charter. They have still not corrected that error. In trying to talk to someone, I ended up talking to someone in the Phillipines who kept apologizing but did not seem to understand my problem. I talked to 2 different people there and got no satisfaction. I kept getting different amounts from them of what they felt I owed. All were wrong. I have copies of all my bills for 2008 and the check numbers and amounts but cannot get anyone to address my problem. What a bunch of yo yos.
