Main thread--Charter Billing Practices
State: Alabama Posted: 11/22/2008 Subject: Charter Communications Customer Service Comment: In October of this year we decided to "bundle our services" with Charter and added phone service to our package. It has been a nightmare. First the techniction said we needed a larger cable line to improve our signal strengh. He installs a larger line but leaves it laying across our front lawn stating it needs to be buried in the ground which he does not do"someone will be out to do that." A week goes by and nothing, no call, no appointment made. So my husband calls and is told the appointment is for the up coming Friday and that somone must be home. He takes off of work and of course no one shows up and there was no call to us to tell us why or to reschedule. We call and are told the weather is now too cold and it will not be done until March!! My husband says we live in Alabama not Ohio! It does not freeze hear until late December! They still do nothing. Now on top of all of this the phone service keeps going out. I have been without a phone for the last week!! I have a small child and my cell phone only works intermitently where I live. I need a home phone I told them. Once again they set up an appointment for Friday Nov. 21st. They of course did not show up!!! Now my internet services are going out daily as well. This has been the worst customer services we have ever had to deal with! We have called several times and can not get our complaints resolved. So this is a warning do not "bundle" t is not worth the money or service!!!! |
