Subject: Charter will not honor rebate
Comment:
I too have been screwed by Charter...again...When I was looking for a provider for cable, internet and phone services, I had an offer by Charter for $150 rebate if you order all three. I asked the sales clerk about the offer and was told I was eligable, so I ordered the services. After everything was installed, I kept calling to ask where the rebate forms were and was then told in order to receive the rebate, I had to order the services through a third party. I kept calling and finally asked to speak with a supervisor..she told me that the sales rep. mis-informed me about the rebate and all she could offer was a $25 credit. I asked if this was fair...your rep. mis-informed me and now I'm out $150. Doesn't seem fair to me!!! She said I could cancel services, but I would be out my $150 installation charges...doesn't add up.
