Main thread--Dell Computer Consumer Complaints
State: north carolina Posted: 10/14/2008 Subject: Part sales Comment: Placed an order for my 1501 lap top. Had it about 20 months and the hard drive crashed. So Dell told me it needed replaced. Now comes the night mere!!! I ordered a 120 gb hard drive and of course it is in production(Da!! should have them on hand)That wasn't the problem. I also ordered two 1gb ram which was shipped, but guess what??? They shipped it to my old address after I had told the sales guy my new address. Guess what?? They told me that they can not send another untill after they get back the shipment they sent out wrong in the first place!!! Dell is so messed up. Now it will likely be another 3 or 4 weeks before I get that part. Who knows when I will get the hard drive(in production RIGHT)They do have the correct address for that one, but isn't it funny that I ordered both parts at the same time!!!!!!! I will never buy a Dell again, buy a Gateway!!! Also their interest rate is outrages and I have no memory of them telling me what the interest rate was going to be, had they did I would of never bought the computer. You can bet too if my computer goes down again, I'll take it to a qualified pc shop |
