Subject: iPhone battery case
Comment:
A federal judge in Illinois has tossed a lawsuit against Apple alleging that consumers were lied to relative to the iPhone battery life. The plaintiff alleged Apple's "purposeful and fraudulent concealment to purchasers of its iPhone cellular telephone that they will be required to incur an annual cell fee of $85.95 as part of defendants' battery replacement program." He also said, "the battery enclosed in the iPhone can only be charged 300 times before it will be in need of replacement, necessitating a new battery annually." Link to story. And the judge concluded there was absolutely no way a jury conclude these are true allegations? That's strange because purchasers of the iPhone from around the country have made these same complaints about early iPhones.
