Subject: horrible billing practices

I called to cancel my people pc account in July of '07, they had been automatically billing my credit card the 10.95 a month for over 1 year. When the following month came around and I found another charge on my credit card I called and demanded a refund. It took 6 weeks to process a 10.95 refund. In the meantime they still did not cancel my account and kept charging me. I have since moved away from that address, I now live out of state and have not had phone service with that phone line, number or company for over 9 months and they are still charging my account 1.95 a month and I have no idea what that is for. When I call, lines are busy. When I get a human they speak "indian" not english and they are very short on explanation. They keep telling me the account is canceled and they add..."we cannot issue more than one refund". I am closing that credit card account finally and I dare them to call me and make me another offer. I am so ready to sue...even if just for pennies. They are a big scam. They do not practice good business and people need to be warned. DO NOT USE PEOPLE PC.
