Subject: charter customer service is an oxymoron
Comment:
I hate charter customer service. I used to live in Raleigh, NC, (where the cable service is TimeWarner) and whenever I had a problem, it was fixed immediately, with a phone call. Now, it's impossible to reach anyone. I only know one person who had success and that is only because he threatened to go with Satellite service. So, my story is: When I signed up for digital cable service in November '07, I asked for DVR service, but they did not have a box, and I was told I was put on a waiting list. Several months later, a friend of mine went to the office and asked if they had any in, and were given a DVR box. So, a few days later, I went to the office...and was told they had no boxes, and they would make sure I was on the waiting list. It is now almost A YEAR since I first asked for the DVR service and box, and I still have not received it, nor have I received any communication from charter as to why! And, as everyone has figured out, trying to get this information to a charter representative that can do something about it is impossible.
