Charter Communications has major "communication" issues. I have written to them, called them and still I keep receiving bills for my other apt. I no longer live at due to the fact that the "install" for my new apt. was entered as a "reconnect". My encounters with everyone who works for this company have been terrible! You are told one thing by the customer service people and what happens is another story! I have contacted their corporate office in St. Louis, MO and still nothing has been resolved! When the equipment was picked up from my old apt. finally, one of the items had a different serial no. than what they had on their records. They kept billing me for that, and even charged me without telling me so when I paid the final bill at my old apt. I actually paid for it. When I contacted their new office that handles these billing problems, I still have not received a response after two letters, phone calls, etc. The only reason I still do business with them is because there are no other cable companies out here. All of the neighbors that are in my apt. community are elderly and they cannot write, or stay on the phone for very long. They all are being billed incorrectly as well. Please, someone do something! This is dishonest business practices!
