We have had nothing but total maddening aggrevation from Charter (phone service)and we totally agree that something should be done. Services are charged a month ahead of time and then a late fee is added. How can there be a late fee if they are charging you a month in advance? I wonder if one dies, do they, have they, will they send a refund? And in that event how many people have they ripped off? I have argued this point with every Charter employee I have talked to. Which has been another problem with charter. Bill says one amount, pay station employee says another amount and billing/service # people yet another amount.e!#x!! In July we had our phone and cable shut off and internet turned on at which time I payed $83.00.The last week in Aug. I went into the pay station to pay for our internet service($32.99 a month x 2)Sept 10 bill arrives, service from 09/19/08 through 10/18/08 for a total of $143.61. WHAT!!!!
Still so completely irratated every time I hear their name, their commercials, their lies!!! I googled " complaints against charter", this page appears and then some sort of advertisement for charter at $ 19.95
WHAT!!! IT'S MADDENING!!! I have never been soooo agreivated. I have every bill from charter. If my service was $69.00 a month times 10 months total should be $690.00, correct? Not with charter math! It exceeds that. Thank goodness we have found another provider. But our frustration with them has not ended. YES, some sort of legal action should be taken against them and we'll be amongst the first to join in!!!!
