"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday put the Indian generic drug giant Ranbaxy on notice that it would block entry to the U.S. market of 25 generic prescription drugs widely used by American consumers." LA Times article. The FDA has issues a Q&A statement to help answer questions about the recall. However, the FDA said there are no reports that consumers have been harmed by drugs made by Ranbaxy and would NOT be issuing a recall at this time. Link.
