Main thread--People PC Complaints
State: Tennessee Posted: 09/07/2008 Subject: PeoplePC scam and fraud Comment: I called People Pc to sign up to use their internet service, they took my credit card info. and billed my bank each month, though I NEVER received their setup disk or used their service...I called to ask for a refund since they did not send their product disc nor did I ever get connected to their service. After several people told me I could NOt have a refund, I did manage to talk to a supervisor..she said 'too bad' no refunds and when I asked to speak with her supervisor she informed me I could write to an address in GA...I asked for her name and her location she replied she was in Santiago DOMINCAN REPUBLIC... what a fraudulent company. They are scammers and don't play by U.S. rules so I am sure I will never see my refund... DO NOT call and give them any credit card info. I will make a webpage with a "DO NOT USE PEOPLE PC" scam and fraud warning. |
