I have the 1st generation IPhone with ver 2.0 software and the ring volume sucks. Most of the time you don't even hear the phone ring. I can't listen to voice messages through the speaker, I have to have the phone to my ear.
I don't know why Apple does not fix this problem it has been over a year since the complaints first appeared. And the talk about MS, HA.

I'll never buy another IPhone.
