Subject: A Class Action Law Suit Should be Filed
Comment:
I strongly believe that a class action law suit should be filed against Charter Communications. Not only are their sales reps shifty and untruthful I have found that their customer service department is a complete waste of time. I have actually been sitting at home this afternoon waiting for CHarter to show up to fix their mess of a cable connection to my apartment. They were supposed to be here by 5:00. At 5:01pm I promptly called and asked where they were. It took 38 minutes on hold for someone to come back and finally tell me that it would be yet another HOUR before their technician would be at my home. I took off work early, locked up my dogs and lost money because of these jerks.

Onto the phone service. When I signed up for the package deal including phone service I specifically asked if we would require special telephones for everyone in the house to have their phones to work as they had with Bell South. Charter Communications sales rep assured me that all would be well and I would need no special equipment. WRONG. After the install of course only one phone worked...the one directly plugged into the modem. I had to go out and purchase a brand new set of phones.

I also have a hard time understanding how they can legally charge me for a months worth of cable television IN ADVANCE. Does everyone get this charge?
