Subject: Billed for item I never received
Comment:
I ordered a camera back in May from Dell, the camera was shipped but for some reason DHL left the item outside of my gated community condos.First I called Dell over the phone to get this issue solved, no luck there, then I tried sending emails to dell customer support, as of now I am still fighting to get this charge off my Dell Prefered Account.Eventhough Dell recognizes I did not received the item they still want me to pay for it,after getting an email stating I was going to receive a credit or a replacement now they are telling me it is over there 21 days return policy. I keep calling dell support and of course they keep leaving me on hold, when I ask for a supervisor or manager they leave me on hold for ever until I hung up. I even asked if I can record the phone conversation so I can take it to my attorney or the district attorney, they also refused to authorize it.I am a Lan IT administrator who works for a Financial Bank, you can bet I will start switching to HP or IBM,for a few bucks less is not worth the headache.
