I never disputed that I had a late fee. I am only saying that I never authorized them to remove it from my bank account. I understand turning to collection agencies and the fact that if I never returned the video that Blockbuster is authorized to take payment but I never authorized Blockbuster to take late fees directly from my account. I am going to take legal action so I'm not really worried about opinion at this point but having someones information does not give you the right to just take money from someones bank account without authorization. Business are required to take legal action and like I said I did return the movie so that isn't the issue. I have been late on payments for school loans and despite the fact that they had my bank information they went through a court and took it out of my taxes instead. Now if a state agency views simply removing money from someones account without authorization as illegal then how can Blockbuster justify their actions?
