"dear customers the reason why you dont get help from customer care..... is because charter takes money out of their employees commission check when you ask for a promotion. so lets say you get a sales rep instead of the right dept they take the downgrade out of the sales rep pay check so of course your not going to get a deal "

As an employee of Charter, I can tell you this is absolutely not true. It is true however, that they want us to upgrade you, not downgrade you, but that's kind of the point of being in business isn't it?

They do not alter our paychecks for reducing your bill, they do however, ask that we allow our retention dept to handle large downgrades (such as a line of business).
