Main thread--Uhaul Billing Complaints
State: Al Posted: 08/03/2008 Subject: U-haul: A must read ! Comment: I am a current assistant mgr in Dothan Al. I have been on the job 4 months now, and I can't take the corp pressure anymore. The way we have to treat customers is horrible. This is forced on us by Uhaul corp. If we dont make our numbers, we get axed. My previous mgr. was $78 short of the montly goal, and he got fred for it after being there 5 yrs. At our location we cant get anyone to work part time because Uhaul pays $6.20 hr. Our trucks are in deplorable,unsafe condition yet we are forced to rent them. Guarenteed reservations are such a joke. 80% of the time its a failed system. Uhaul gets away with murder from the D.O.T. I'm sorry to all the customers that I had to scam. Maybe someday someone will slap Uhaul with a killer lawsuit. Dont rent from Uhaul, pay extra for the other truck rental companies.
