I have had nothing but problems with Charter. I have not received a single correct bill. I have spent hours and hours on the phone and in the local office. You wouldn't believe the latest problem to arise.

A couple of weeks ago I thought I had made some progress, proved my point, and received some credits. The next week I got another incorrect bill. I called to discuss it and didn't get anywhere. I explained that when I showed the local office the paperwork they agreed and issued the credits. The next day they sent someone to my door to get a payment of cut off service. I wrote a check for an amount I really didn't owe and decided I would go back into the local office and talk to them again.

A couple of days later I get a letter from Charter saying that the check was returned! The check was never presented to the bank. Charter refuses to show me the "returned check". They placed a long list of fees on my account and said that I need to prove that it was never presented to the bank. They won't accept a bank statement they want a letter from the bank. I can't wait to go to a bank the size of Bank of America and ask them to type up a personal letter.

It is just a never ending battle. If I had any other choice for high speed internet access I would switch.
