I too cannot stand Charter! But, unfortunately they have a monoply in my area so, we have no other choice. The one thing I will recommend is that if you ever have a problem and need to call (which we all do) when given the prompts always pick Disconnect...they can do the same things as Customer Service but, you will always get someone who speaks english w/ no accent! I always add, "opps...silly me I must have pressed the wrong number!" :)
