I also received a call from Charter offering me a FREE DVR and FREE DVR service secondary to having the bundled Charter services and being a "good" customer!!! I, too, questioned the rep MULTIPLE times as to any charges. The rep assured me that I would have ZERO cost!! No payment of any kind. I told him I was not at all interested if I had to pay a dime. He assured me again that I would pay nothing. The bill arrived one month later with the $15.00 monthly fee and a few additional charges. I immediately called customer service to complain of this outright LIE. Ofcourse, they were of no help. I told them to come and get it and am currently searching for any other option in my area for all services I currently have with them. I do not understand how this company can get away with this.
